How to write a review

In recent months I have noticed several authors being given terrible reviews by less than professional people who either don't like the author or just want to hurt for the sake of hurting. Why would anyone be such an obvious bully to someone they don't even know? I just don't get the attitude of today. They need to leave authors alone! They work hard to create a book and we need to give them a professional review not a personal opinion. Reviewers also need to stop with the spoilers as well. Just because you didn't like the book doesn't mean everyone else will feel the same way and giving away the main plot of the story is UNACCEPTABLE!
