As an introvert who doesn’t do well talking about herself, this might be my most difficult writing challenge yet!

Okay…here we go. Some things to know about me:

I have a bachelor’s degree in English with a focus in Creative Writing and a master’s degree in Humanities with a strong literary focus. Despite that, I didn’t know I wanted to be an author until I was in my mid-thirties.

I think pizza is the perfect food.

I drive a 2002 Solar Yellow Nissan Xterra named Tweety (as in Bird). He’s an integral part of our family, which consists of me, my hubby of nearly 20 years, our teenage daughter, and our adorable black lab mix rescue pup, Gideon…whom I feature a lot on Instagram!

I met my hubby in New Orleans at Mardi Gras. I traveled there with my coworker from Atlanta and he traveled there with his cousin from Canada, and we all stayed in the same one-bedroom apartment. It was love at first sight!

I watch way too many crime-solving shows and medical dramas. Also, I miss Supernatural.

Raine Thomas is a pen name. Lorraine is my mother’s middle name and Thomas is my dad’s middle name. I shortened Lorraine to make it a little snazzier and more modern. Voila!
